This report takes a deep dive into the issues that matter most to women of color voters, integrating new polling data alongside analysis of three phases of qualitative research. This multi-phased approach reveals key insights for the 2026 midterm elections while capturing the nuance of lived experiences and the impact on trust in our institutions and government.

Our 2025 Reproductive Justice Policy Agenda centers our communities’ unique needs in three key pillars of reproductive justice—Healthy Body, Healthy Families and Communities, and Healthy Democracy—and provides the tools to build a society where every person can make decisions about their body and future without fear or restriction.

Our 2024 polling surveyed women of color registered voters to understand and lift up the experiences and priorities that drove this powerful voting bloc to the polls in a critical presidential election year.

The collective turnout of women of color voters reached historic levels in the 2020 general election. To understand why, Intersections of Our Lives sponsored a nationwide poll of women of color who voted in the 2020 election. The findings shine a light on the issues that motivated them to vote and influenced their choices on Election Day.
